18th March 2006 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: 35-40mph Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Had a nightmare in the estury! Overpowered and out of control on my 4.2 but had a few good runs. Took Als advice and headed for the seafront with Daz. 30mph+ NW winds, Completly flat water, sunny sky, White knuckle speed run time Yahoo!! I was first out and blasted off on my 4.2 towards Borth jibed and headed back passing Daz who had the biggest grin ive seen all year. I was well overpowered on my 4.2 and could have done with one of whiteys speedboards but we were havin a ball!! Daz,s grin was shortlived when he took a big wipeout and snapped his boom!! WE sailed till we dropped, Wicked sesh!! |
